On Instagram I asked what other mamas wore whenever they had a chance without the kids. One of the things I like to wear when I’m sans enfants is white jeans.
I’ll be the first to admit that when the Birkenstock trend came out a few years ago, I was bemused. They’re not the sexiest of the shoes, are they? Yet the street style blogs from my Google Reader (#RIP) had image upon image and story upon story from street style blogs with those darn sandals, so there had to something in them.

The other thing would be to DIY that shiz, which I decided to do.
The humidity in Sydney has got me pining for colder weather and I’m itching to pull out my knits and coats as any cool change in the temperature would mean some relief to this heat!
My return to work date is imminent and in the weeks leading up to it I’ve been grumbling and sighing.
