So I’d like to preface this post by saying this is more of an explanation (and an apology of sorts) for not being able to blog as much as I (and hopefully you) would like.
So for a lot of you the weather might be glorious and sunny, but in Sydney it has become rather cold and crisp.
Recently I looked back at my outfit posts on the blog and Instagram and realised there was something missing from my wardrobe: a black dress.
For the last few weeks I have been speaking to a good friend of mine who I haven’t seen in a long time – with one of us having kids (me) and the other living in another country (her) it’s been hard to catch up, even online. We’ve been talking about the business of blogging while she’s in town.
Happy winter solstice everyone. To mark the shortest day of the year, Sydney decided to turn on some rather windy and chilly weather.
I know I’ve forgotten to do these kind of posts over the last couple of weeks – deadlines at work and having two little ones makes life a little crazy – but I promise I’ll try to do this on a regular basis!
So today’s outfit is technically not from my capsule wardrobe.
Thank you lovely people for your well wishes! I’m feeling a lot better, even if the cold and cough haven’t gone away. It was a long weekend in Sydney this weekend and I spent most of it gloriously outfitted in tracksuit pants and wellington boots as my husband and I caught up on household chores that we normally don’t get…
It’s Day 5 of the flu bug and I’m still feeling crappy. However, thank you to those who have wished me well, you’ve put a smile to my face 🙂
Another instalment of my work outfits in advance, and this time I think my flu bug has affected my mood and style.
