With the temperatures finally dipping in Sydney, I’ve started thinking about my winter capsule wardrobe – key items that will keep me stylish and warm, as well as outfit ideas and inspiration.
The humidity in Sydney has got me pining for colder weather and I’m itching to pull out my knits and coats as any cool change in the temperature would mean some relief to this heat!
A few of my favourite images from Instagram this week…
This week’s inspiration from Instagram…
I love #fwis Instagram posts – given my shoe obsession, these shots give shoes the attention they deserve while providing a nice top down view of the full outfit. I’ve got to improve my shot game though – it can take me quite a few attempts to get the perfect FWIS pic!
Instagram inspiration this week…
I did it! Who would have thought, 30 outfits from only 13 items of clothing? It was DEFINITELY a challenge, believe me, but it did get my stylist head into gear to create some practical yet stylish outfits that could work in a variety of situations.
The jumpsuit makes another (and last!) appearance for Outfit 29 of the 13 going on 30 challenge, and assuming that one didn’t sweat excessively in the previous wear of it, then it’s OK to wear again.
Print on petite ladies such as myself is a bit hit and miss. Generally, the bigger the print, the more overwhelming it is on women who are a bit vertically challenged, especially if it’s longer piece of clothing like a maxi dress of maxi skirt.
Prints are a great way to draw attention to a part of the body that you’re proud of. It also works to enhance an area that might need a little “help”.
