While on my way to work for a meeting last week, a bout of rain caught me by surprise, so I popped into the Salvation Army op shop to grab an umbrella. As I had a little bit of time to kill before my meeting, I didn’t think anything of having a browse in the shop. Famous last words.

I recently bought a blue button up shirt by Re: (available through David Jones) and reading the label’s philosophy made me think about what I’m calling “responsible fashion”.
For quite a few years now I’ve done a fair bit of selling and buying on eBay (a lot more buying than selling, I have to admit :)) and I wanted to share what I’ve learnt from my experiences so far (as well as the excellent buys I’ve bought recently).
The outfit I’m wearing in this post has been entirely thrifted through the main ways I buy second hand items.
This week’s outfit roundup on Instagram is a pretty good demonstration of the extent of my addiction to shopping on eBay and op-shops/charity shops.
