Outfit: It’s Cold Outside Baby

It’s too cold to think about being stylish.

My lack of outfit posts the last couple of weeks reflects the sentiment above. I’ve just been too cold to think about what would make a stylish AND warm outfit. For the most part I’ve been reaching for the wardrobe equivalent of comfort food – sweatshirts, leggings and sneakers.

I knew I wanted to write a blog post today so I made the slightest effort by changing the leggings for jeans and opting for my Kachel silk blouse instead of the thermal shirt. The pink cardigan from this post makes an appearance to keep me warm.

Yes, this isn’t the most stylish of outfits, but I don’t really care. I was warm(ish, except when the wind blew) and comfortable.

As for my hair, I’m currently undergoing an experiment which I will blog about in due time, but let’s just say it wasn’t my best hair day. What a day to choose to blog about my get up eh?

By the way, I’m back on Instagram! I’ll be sharing my outfits, random things I come across in my day, the occasional green tea latte post, and of course stuff from the blog. The funny thing about social media is that it actually started out with the best intention of being social and not about making money and being an “influencer”. This social aspect of Instagram was what I missed most so I’m dipping my toes on IG again and I’d love to see you there! Find me as @eileensed 🙂

  1. Yay, welcome back to instagram! 🙂

I found the same with my first blog (this blog isn’t my first). I’d only blog photos I thought were ‘worthy’ and was always picking faults in them. So now if I have time to take a pic, I blog it! haha! There have been some shockers over the years but it’s nice to look back on – as I’m sure you’ll like looking back on this when you’re looking for some winter outfit inspiration maybe even next year! 🙂

    1. Thank you! I’ve just knitted (and blogged) about another sweater too! I’m really loving knitting at the moment, especially given how cold it is in Sydney! Thanks so much for stopping by xx
