This is a bit of a repeat offender outfit as I ‘grammed the same ensemble a few weeks ago, but this time I get to blog about it!
As I mentioned on Instagram I’ve become quite addicted to finding amazing finds on eBay and charity shops (op shops as they’re called in Australia)- it’s the thrill of the hunt and uncovering some hidden gems in the musty haze of the charity store. One such gem was this $8 white blazer – and to my surprise, was by Max Mara! Admittedly it is more of a summer blazer as it’s unlined- the first time I wore it was a windy day and the wind whipped right through the blazer.
The turtleneck is also by Max Mara, this time costing a little bit more (!) at $12. The label had come undone on one side which was easily repairable. It’s also a size XL, which may be evident from the loose-fitting turtleneck, but I actually like how the body fits as I don’t like my knits to hug too closely to the body.
Basically, other than my shoes, the entire outfit consists of second hand fashion items! (I’ve blogged about the Gorman spotty pants bought from Rozelle Markets before.)
It’s finds like these designer ones which make me keep going back to the charity stores to see what other little jewels they have – and indeed, I’ve found more! Check back on the blog soon to see what other thrifty designer and high-end items I’ve found online and at my favourite op shops!
Wearing: thrifted Max Mara white blazer and black turtleneck (similar blazer here; similar turtleneck here; current Max Mara blazer and sweater for an idea of retail price) | Gorman spotted pants (similar) | Sportsgirl loafers (Phillip Lim goodness here)
